About Tanishi
Tanishi Gupta began swimming at just eight years old in India, quickly rising through the ranks. By 12, she was already competing at the National Games, earning medals against the country's best.
Seeking to push her limits further, she moved to the United States to train at a higher level, while continuing her roots in India with Dolphin Aquatics.
At 14, she was selected for the USA Swimming Zone Select Camp, marking her as one of the top emerging swimmers in her age group, and was featured in SwimSwam for her 100 Fly performance.
At 16, Tanishi holds the fastest times in India across all age groups in 100m butterfly, 50m butterfly, and 100m backstroke.
Most recently, she represented India at the 12th Asian Age Group Championships in Bangkok, winning five bronze medals and setting an India Best Time along with a relay Best Time in the open age group.
Her journey is just beginningโdriven by discipline, growth, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
